Let's also take into account the HUGE difference in art style. KoF is very... "Anime". I'm sure that's not the right term but it wants every move to look "exaggerated". Everything to be very showy and is a world where even a housewife who only boxes for a hobby moves so fast that she seems to teleport. KoF wants its Super Moves to be like that. Spectacular and showy. SF6 has a style... I would say "realistic" compared to most current fighting games. If we notice carefully it doesn't want everything to be very showy, but it does want it to be contundent. Every hit of its super moves can be seen and it's easier to imagine how painful it can be. The detail of everything. The directness, like a real street fight. As an additional point, KoF has characters full of unique fighting styles and "personalized" to the character so it allows for a lot of variety in its show. SF6, on the other hand, likes to be more faithful to existing fighting styles and how to represent them so you can see the techniques better and even recognize what the characters are doing.
